We host celebrations for up to 40 people—just enough to feel like a proper party, but still close, curated, and deeply personal. No starchy banquets. No gold chair covers. Just one of the most atmospheric homes in Shoreditch, ready to be filled with the people and energy that matter most to you.

At the heart of the house lies the master bedroom, a room that feels like something out of a movie. Think: skylights glowing overhead, a vintage bathtub in the centre of the room, and a private roof garden just steps away. This is where you wake up as the sun spills across East End rooftops. Where you sip champagne in the tub with your best friend on the morning of your wedding. Where you retreat with your partner after saying “I do” just feet away. It’s opulent but intimate. We’ve recently added a brand-new dressing room—a dreamy, light-filled boudoir designed for preparation, transformation, and calm. Perfect for makeup artists, stylists, brides, grooms, performers or photographers, it’s a serene space away from the buzz. Think antique mirrors, soft textiles, artful lighting, and just the right amount of glamour.

Whether you’re getting ready with your closest friends or sneaking away for a wardrobe change between cocktail hour and dinner, the dressing room offers a luxurious pause in the day’s whirlwind.

Unlike traditional venues, The Britannia is a living home—and that means every event here is completely unique. We’ll work with you to curate a celebration that reflects your story: music, mood, styling, setup. Host your ceremony in the upstairs salon or even on the private roof terrace. Arrange a long-table dinner in the downstairs space lit by candles and vintage chandeliers. Flow from speeches in the lounge to dancing in the garden under the Shoreditch sky.

Columbia Road Flower Market is a short walk (ideal for morning-after blooms), and original Banksy pieces are tucked into nearby alleyways.
